HPU MAT 2022

• HP CMAT 2022 is a common entrance test for admission to Master of Business Administration (MBA) programme for all the universities/Institutions affiliated to universities in Himachal Pradesh. In accordance with the UGC guidelines there shall be only one entrance test for all such Institutions.

• The Government of Himachal Pradesh, Department of Technical Education has designated (MBA Deptt.) Himachal Pradesh University as the Nodal agency for conducting Entrance Test for MBA admission to all the Universities/ Institutions affiliated to universities in HP. The HP CMAT 2022-2023 will be basis for admission to the following

HPU MAT Application Form 2022

• Generally Application Form Submission (offline) by hand or Post starts from April.

• The Applicvation Procedure for HPU MAT 2022 Admissions are given below, those candidate who wanted to apply can check the details.

• The Appliaction Form along with Handbook of information can be obtained from the Business School as cash payment/demand draft * Demand draft should be in favour of Director, Himachal Pradesh Business School, Shimla.

• Candidate can also download the application form from Himachal Pradesh University website.

HPU MAT 2022 Exam Date:

• The management aptitude test is conducted by Institute of Management Studies (at Himachal Pradesh University) on behalf of the Department of Technical Education (DTE), Government of Himachal Pradesh. Generally the exam held in the month of May. Last year it was conducted on 30th May.

• MBA – Master of Business Administration – 2 years in 4 sems
• Total Seats 120 seats

HPU MAT 2022 Eligibility

• The candidates should not be more than 26 years of age except NRI/NRI Sponsored/Foreign National candidates/students, and serving/retired defence personnel. For the SC/ST candidates, there is a relaxation of three years in the upper age limit.

• The candidates need to have passed in graduation or its equivalent examination under 10+2+3 scheme, from any recognized University.

• The qualifying examination must be passed by the candidates with not less than 50% marks in aggregate. In case of SC/ST candidates, they need to have passed graduation with at least 45% marks in the qualifying examination.

• The candidates, who are appearing in final year of qualifying examination, are also eligible to apply for appearing in the entrance test.

HPU MAT 2022 Exam Pattern

• The admission is based on competitive examination which comprises of applications ratings, Management Aptitude Test (objective type having multiple choice Questions), group discussion and personal interview.

1. It is written test for three hours.
2. The question paper comprises of only objective type questions.
3. The candidates have to choose the right answer from multiple options.
4. All the questions in the paper are divided into four sections, each section in the question paper comprises of 50 questions:

• Talking about preparation for the management aptitude test, the candidate appearing in the HP CMAT must prepare English Comprehension, Reasoning, Business Environment and Arithmetic Comprehension & Data Interpretation, based on which questions are generally asked in the test.

 HP CMAT 2022 Result

• After, all the Question Booklets and OMR Response Sheets are received by the University the evaluation shall be done using OMR machine.

• After evaluation, result shall be declared Rank-wise, Roll No. wise and category wise.

• The Ranking shall be solely based on the result of HP CMAT 2022 and shall not be valid for admission.

• This Ranking will be drawn to give an approximate idea to the candidate with regard to his/her relative position only based on HPU MAT 2022.

• The HP CMAT Result 2022 will be available on University website

HP CMAT Admit Card 2022

• The University will provide the facility of downloading Admit Cards of HP CMAT 2022, along with a certificate which would be dully signed and attested from either Principal of last attended School/Executive Magistrate.

• Candidates are required to download HP CMAT admit cards from the website and follow the instructions given therein. Candidate may please note that HP CMAT 2022 admit cards will not be sent by the post.

• The HP CMAT 2022 admit cards will be available on University website from before 15 days of exam. Candidate must not mutilate the Admit Card or change any entry made therein.

• Candidates are advised to preserve their HP CMAT Admit Cards in good condition till admission in MBA Colleges is over.
