Goa CET 2022 www.dtegoa.gov.in Goa Common Entrance Test 2022 (Goa CET): Conducted by Directorate of Technical Education, Government of Goa, has prepared this prospectus for admissions to the First Year of Professional Degree courses in the State of Goa.

GCET 2022 (Goa CET)

  • The information given herein pertains to Common Entrance Test and admission procedure applicable to the Government, Government-aided  and un-aided colleges in Goa offering Bachelor’s Degree in the fields of Architecture, Dentistry, Engineering, Medicine  (Allopathic  &  Homoeopathy),  Pharmacy,  Allied  Health  Sciences  and  Nursing  at  Institute  of Nursing Education.

Applicants for MBBS, BDS, BHMS & BAMS courses, who have submitted
Form B2, are required to furnish self-attested copy of their NEET 2022
results, together with copy of their NEET hall ticket/admit card, on or
before 30th June, 2019 (5:00 p.m.) Eligibility list and merit list will be displayed on 11
th July, 2019. Round of admissions would be conducted as per schedule notified.

Goa CET 2022 Exam Date

  • The Directorate  of Technical  Education,  Government  of Goa shall conduct  Goa Common Entrance Test 2022 (GCET-2022) for admissions to Professional Degree courses in Medical, Dental, Engineering, Pharmacy, Homeopathy,  Allied Health Sciences and Nursing (at Institute of Nursing Education)in the State of Goa, for the academic year 2022-23. Admissions to Degree course in Architecture shall be on the basis of NATA as per details given under eligibility.
  • Dates of GCET Entrance Exam is 16 10-05-16(Tue) & 11-05-16(Wed)

GCET 2022 Application Form

  • This prospectus is uploaded on website: www.dtegoa.gov.in  of the Directorate of Technical Education. Application form submission starts from 28-03-16.
  • Last date for receiving forms for GCET-16 (FORM A) at Application Reception Centre & Collecting Admit Cards  02-04-16
  • Applicants  shall download,  print and submit application  form for GCET-2022 (Form  A), at notified locations as per Centre opted, on specified dates, along with application fee of Rs. 1500/- payable vide demand draft drawn in favour of  “Director of Technical  Education” at Panaji – Goa.

GCET 2022 Eligibility

For admission to Professional Degree courses included in this prospectus, an applicant must fulfil the following criteria:

  • An applicant to Degree courses in Medicine, Dentistry, Homoeopathy Allied Health Sciences and Nursing must have competed the age of 17 years on or before 31st  December of the academic year  of admission  to  become  eligible  for  admission  to  First  Year.  No  age  limit,  minimum  or maximum, is specified for admission to Engineering, Pharmacy and Architecture.

MBBS, BDS, BHMS & AHS

  • Applicant should have passed the Higher Secondary Certificate (Std. XII) examination of Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with English and secured not less than 50% marks in the aggregate of subjects of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology taken together. (40% for the applicants belonging to SC, ST and OBC only and 45% for applicants belonging to PH category for MBBS and BDS Course).

B.Sc. in Nursing

  • Applicants should have passed HSSC with minimum 50% aggregate marks, as well as secure 50%  aggregate  marks  in  English,  Physics,  Chemistry,  Biology  for  General  Category,  (45% aggregate marks in all subjects for candidates belonging to SC/ST category, as well as min. 50% aggregate marks in English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology).

First Year B.E.

  • The applicant should have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate (Std.XIIth) examination  of the Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination  with  English,  Physics  and  Mathematics  as  compulsory  subjects  with  one  of  the following  subjects  Chemistry/Bio-Technology/Computer Science  /Biology,  and  secured  not  less than 45% marks in the aggregate of subjects of Physics & Mathematics with one of the following subjects Chemistry/Bio-Technology/Computer Science/Biology. (40% for the applicants belonging to SC, ST and OBC only).

First Year B. Pharm.

  • The applicant should have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate (Std.XIIth) examination  of the Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with English, Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects with one of the following subjects Mathematics/Bio-Technology/Computer Science /Biology, and secured not less than 45% marks in the aggregate  of subjects  of Physics  & Chemistry with one of the following  subjects Mathematics/Bio-Technology/Computer Science/Biology. (40% for the applicants belonging to SC, ST and OBC only). As per Pharmacy Council of India Regulations, candidates passing Senior Secondary School examination conducted by National Open School, New Delhi are not approved/eligible for admissions to B. Pharm.

First Year B.Arch.:

  • The applicant should have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate (Std.XIIth) examination  of the Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with Mathematics as one of the subjects and secured at least 50% marks in aggregate (45% aggregate marks for applicants belonging to SC/ST/OBC).  OR   10+3 Diploma (any stream) recognised by Central/State Governments with 50% aggregate marks.  OInternational  Baccalaureate  Diploma,  after  10  years of schooling,  with not less than 50% marks in aggregate and with Mathematics as compulsory subject of examination.
  • Applicants  scoring  minimum  80/200  at NATA will be eligible  for  admission  to  B.Arch., provided NATA score is obtained by answering  NATA exam before last date of submission of admission form.

GCET 2022 Syllabus

  • GCET 2022 shall be based on the syllabus prescribed by the Goa Board of Secondary & Higher Secondary Education, Porvorim, for Standard XII (Science) examination for the current year in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology.

Goa CET 2022 Exam Pattern:

  • GCET Exam 2022 was based on the syllabus prescribed by the Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, Porvorim for Class 12th covering Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
  • Each paper comprised of 75 questions to be answered in two hours.
  • Each correct answer was of 1 mark.
  • There was no negative marking for wrong or multiple answers.
