his entrance Examination is organized by Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board. This examination is conducted for entrance into a choice of Medical and Agricultural courses in several government and private colleges within the state.

- Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination 2022 is conducted by JCECE 2022 Board for admission into Engineering, Medical, Dental, Homeopathy, Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry, Forestry and Agricultural degree programs at undergraduate level.
- This entrance test is being conducted for the admission in first year degree level professional courses like Engineering, M.B.B.S., B.D.S., B.Sc. Agriculture, B.SC. Forestry, B.H.M.S. & other same type of courses within the Jharkhand State or outside of the State Universities/C0lleges/lnstitutions where there is need Of recommendation to state, recommendation will be based on Merit-cum-Choice basis prepared by J.C.E.C.E. – 2022 Merit List.
JCECE 2022 Exam Date
- This entrance Examination is organized by Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination 2022 Board. Generally the exam conducted on May. Last year it was conducted on 14th May.

JCECE 2022 Online Application Form
- A candidate can apply for the Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination – 2022 (JCECE-2022) only ON-LINE by logging on to website.
- The submission of Online application form through website can be made from April.
- The JCECE 2022 Information Brochure will be available ON LINE on the websites.
- Candidates are advised to read carefully this information brochure, check their eligibility and applicable reservation category etc. before filling and submitting the application.
- Those candidates who want to appear in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology stream, (PCMB group) have to submit additional demand draft of Rs 50/- in favour of Controller of examination, JCECE 2022 payable at Ranchi as additional exam fee.
- In case of such candidate must write their name, application form on the back side of demand draft.
- If they did not submit required fee, the board will treat him/her as PCB group candidate and he/she will not be allowed to appear in Mathematics paper examination.
- No draft will be accepted in any circumstances after last date of receipt of application form.
JCECE 2022 Eligibility
P.C.M. Group
- P.C.M. Group – A candidate who has passed l.Sc / 10+2 or equivalent examination with subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or appearing in the current session and is interested in appearing in the Competitive Examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, then he/she will be called PCM Group and He/She will have to give answer the question of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects in the examination.
P.C.B. Group
- P.C.B. Group – A candidate who has passed I.Sc / 10+2 or equivalent examination with subjects Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Bio-technology or appearing in the current session and is interested in appearing in the Competitive Examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Bio-technoIogy, then he/she will be called PCB Group and He/She will have to give answer the question of Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Bio-technology subjects in the examination.
P.C.M.B. Group
- P.C.M.B. Group – A candidate who has passed l.Sc / 10+2 or equivalent examination with subjects Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Bio-technology as well as keeping Mathematics as an extra subject or appearing in the current session and is interested in appearing in the Competitive Examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio-technology and Mathematics, then he/she will be called PCMB Group and He/She will have to give answer the question of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology/Bio-technology subjects in the examination.
Age Limit
- B. Tech. – No age bar
- M.B.B.S. / B. D.S. – completed age of 1 7 years at the time of admission or will complete the age
on or before 31st December of the year of his/her admission. - B.Sc. Agriculture & B.Sc. Forestry – minimum 17 years and maximum 22 years as on 1st July 2019. (3 years age relaxation for SC/ST candidate in upper age limit)
- BHMS – No age bar
JCECE 2022 Exam Pattern
Language of the Question Papers:- a. Question Paper consists of both English and in Hindi language.
b. In case of any ambiguity in translation of any of the questions. its English version shall be treated as final.
- Each question carries I mark. For each correct response the candidate will get I mark. For each incorrect response, 1/4 marks will be deducted from the total score. No deduction from the total score will, however, be made if no response is indicated for a question in the answer sheet. The candidates are advised not to attempt such question in answer sheet, if they are not sure of the correct response. More than one answer indicated a question will be deemed as incorrect response and will be negatively marked.

- General Properties of Matter, Heat, Measurement and Kinematics, Mechanics, Wave motion, Sound, Light, Laws of Motion, Gravitation, Oscillations, Thermodynamics, Magnetic Effect of Current and Magnetism, Electron Physics, Radiation, Optics, Semiconductor Devices, Atomic Physics, Electrostatics, and Current Electricity.
Topics in Chemistry
- Basic Concepts and Atomic Structure, Periodic Properties of Elements and Hydrogen, S-Block, P-Block, D-Block and F-Block Elements, Electrochemistry, Chemical Equilibrium, Stereochemistry, Laws of Gases, Functional Groups Containing Oxygen, Halogens, Nitrogen, Polymers, Purification and Characterization of Organic Compounds, Chemical Kinetics, Redox Reactions, and Environmental Chemistry.

JCECE 2022 Admit Card
- The Admit Card will bear the candidate’s Roll Number, Name, Father’s Name, Category, SMQ, PH, Photograph, Date of Birth, Subject Group with Name and Address of J.C.E.C.E. – 2015 Examination centre allotted. The candidate should carefully examine the Admit Card downloaded by him/her for all the entries made therein.
- In case of any discrepancy, the candidate should immediately inform the Board. In such cases, candidates would appear in the examination with the already downloaded admit card. However, Board will take necessary action to make correction in the record later.
JCECE 2022 Result
- The Board will conduct the JCECE 2022 Examination, evaluate the Answer Sheets and likely to declare the result by the Last week Of May, 2015 and the same will be hosted on website.
- There will be Combined Merit List along with Category-wise Merit List for all the candidates participating in the said examination. As soon as the result is ready, the Board will host the results on the website and thereafter candidates may download the Result.
- All Candidates appearing in JCECE 2022 Examination must remain in touch with the website Of the Board, till conclusion of final round of Counselling.
