- KVS Running 850 schools in India, Moscow and Kathmandu, which are affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). Every year KVS (Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan) recruited thousands of Primary Teachers (PRT) candidates for various primary schools.
KVS PRT Exam Eligibility 2022
Candidates should have the following minimum education qualification to apply KVS PRT recruitment exam.
- i) Senior Secondary School Certificate with 50% marks or Intermediate with 50% marks or its equivalent;
- Pass in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) conducted by the CBSE in accordance with the Guidelines framed by the NCTE for the purpose.
- Competence to teach through Hindi & English media.
KVS PRT Exam Pattern & Syllabus 2022
For KVS PRT exam will be divided into two parts.
- Part I will consist of 30 multiple choice questions in English (15) and Hindi (15) questions carrying 1 mark each.
- Part II will consist of 120 multiple choice questions carrying 1 mark each comprising of Current Affairs (40), Reasoning Ability (40) and Teaching Methodology (40).
- The total duration of test for the KVS PRT will be two and a half hours each.
- Part II of the question paper of the candidate will be evaluated only if he/she qualifies in part I securing 4 marks each in English and Hindi subjects and 10 marks in aggregate.
- The final merit will be based on the combined performance in the written test (Part-II) and interview and the weightage will be 70:30.
