KVS Running 850 schools in India, Moscow and Kathmandu, which are affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education. Every year KVS (Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan) recruited thousands of Art Education Trained Graduate Teachers candidates for various schools.

KVS AE TGT Eligibility Qualification

1. Five years’ recognized Diploma in Drawing and Painting/ Sculpture/ Graphic Art
or
Equivalent recognized Degree
2. Working knowledge of Hindi & English. Desirable: Working knowledge of Computer Applications

Only Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) pass candidates (Paper II), having professional quantification of B.Ed are eligible to apply for the posts of TGT (Art Education). The candidates with professional qualification of Special B.Ed OR B.Ed. OR Special D.Ed. are not eligible to apply for these posts.

KVS Art Education Trained Graduate Teachers Salary

Pay Band Rs. 9300- Rs. 34,800 plus Grade Pay 4600/-

Exam Pattern & Syllabus

KVS TGT Art Education Exam Pattern

For KVS TGT Art Education teacher exam will be divided into two parts.

Part I will consist of 40 multiple choice questions in the subjects English and Hindi carrying 1 mark each.

Part II will consist of 160 multiple choice questions carrying 1 mark each comprising of Current Affairs (30), Reasoning and Numerical Ability (30) and concerned subject (100) questions. (The syllabus for subject concerned is available on KVS website).

The test will be of 03 hours duration. The Part II of the candidate will be evaluated only if
he/she qualifies Part I securing 5 marks each in English & Hindi subjects and 13 marks in aggregate in English and Hindi subjects.

The final merit list will be based on the performance of the candidate in written test
(Part II) and interview. The weightage of written test (Part II) and interview will be 70:30.
