KVS Running 850 schools in India, Moscow and Kathmandu, which are affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education. Every year KVS (Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan) recruited thousands of Mathematics Trained Graduate Teachers candidates for various schools.

KVS Maths TGT Eligibility Qualification

The candidate should have studied Maths in all the years of graduation with any two subjects out of Physics, Chemistry, Electronics, Computer Science, Statistics.

In case of Honours Degree in Maths, the candidate should have studied Maths in all the years of graduation with atleast 50% marks in aggregate and any of the two subjects indicated in point No.1 above with atleast 50% marks in each subject at graduation, level and also atleast 50%marks in graduation.

BA (Hons.) in Maths and B.Sc (Hons) in any subject other than Maths are not eligible for the post of TGT (Maths).

Only Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) pass candidates (Paper II), having professional quantification of B.Ed are eligible to apply for the posts of TGT (Mathematics). The candidates with professional qualification of Special B.Ed OR B.Ed. OR Special D.Ed. are not eligible to apply for these posts.

KVS Mathematics Trained Graduate Teachers Salary

Pay Band Rs. 9300- Rs. 34,800 plus Grade Pay 4600/-

Exam Pattern & Syllabus

KVS TGT Mathematics Exam Pattern

For KVS TGT Mathematics teacher exam will be divided into two parts.

Part I will consist of 30 multiple choice questions in Mathematics (15) and Mathematics (15) questions carrying 1 mark each.

Part II will consist of 120 multiple choice questions carrying 1 mark each comprising of Current Affairs (40), Reasoning Ability (40) and Teaching Methodology (40).

The total duration of test for the Mathematics TGTs will be two and a half hours each.

Part II of the question paper of the candidate will be evaluated only if he/she qualifies in part I securing 4 marks each in Mathematics and Mathematics subjects and 10 marks in aggregate.

The final merit will be based on the combined performance in the written test (Part-II) and interview and the weightage will be 70:30.
