The Meghlaya Board of education came into existence in the year of 1973 . This board of education started its functioning under the Act of 1973. The main motive of this board of education was to regulate the education everywhere in India. The headquarter of this board was in Tura. Official language of this board in English. All the exams are done in English. Initially this board was conducted the SSLC exam for the student. The Board was inaugurated by the Honorable Late Captain W.A. Sangma who was the chief minister of Meghalaya.

Meghalaya Board HSSLC or Class 12 Results for Arts Stream are also declared and are available at the above mentioned website. The results of HSSLC 2019 (Science, Commerce & Vocational Streams) are already available on the website. They were published on May 05.

The institutions have to collect the same from MBOSE Office, Tura/Shillong/Jowai Cell after the declaration of the result. The whole Result Booklet can also be downloaded from the MBOSE Official Website www.mbose.in. Results can also be accessed through SMS using mobile phones.

Mbose HSLC/ HSSLC Results 2019 Merit List

A total of 25,785 students appeared for the Meghalaya Board HSSLC Arts exams 2019; around 15,745 as regular candidates and others as non regular candidates.

The overall pass percentage was 60.47 with a large difference between the pass percentages of regular and non regular candidates. Regular candidates witnessed a pass percentage of 72.2 per cent while non regular candidates witnessed a pass percentage of 22.36 per cent.

Last year topper of the MBOSE HSSLC Arts stream secured 432 marks followed by second rank holder at 408 marks and finally the third rank holder at 404 marks.

The HSSLC Arts stream offered by Meghalaya Board includes the following subjects: English, Hindi, Bengali, Nepali, Garo, Economics, Political Science, Philosophy, Mathematics, Home Science, History, Geology, Geography, Enviornmental Studies, Education, Computer Science and Anthropology.
