- All candidates have to apply online. Separate application has to be applied on line for each post. Application fees is Rs. 500/- (Rs. 100/- in case of SC/ ST and Ex-Serviceman candidates (non refundable).

The effective date for reckoning the requisite qualification and experience and the upper age limit will be 15th June 2017.
GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
- All appointments shall be on “contract basis” and will be initially for a period of ‘four years’ including a probation period of one year. The contractual appointment may be extended further based on satisfactory performance of the candidate during the initial period of four years for which a performance review will be carried out by the Institute.
- Only candidates of Indian origin are eligible to apply for any Faculty and Non Faculty posts.
- All the posts(s) are based on Pay Band & Grade Pay as per the HR policy of ILBS. However posts of Resident Hospital Administrator are on consolidated basis.
- The candidate must satisfy himself of the eligibility conditions as per the recruitment rules before applying. The recruitment rules are covered under the Career Opportunities. The above vacancies are subject to change and the Institute reserves the right whether or not to fill up any post. No appeal will be entertained or accepted. It would not be obligatory on the part of the Institute to call for Interview every candidate who possesses the essential qualification and no representation in this regard will be entertained from any candidate.
- Age relaxation:-
- Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST candidates

- The Institute allows age relaxation to the contractual employees of this institute (ILBS) who have served this institute for more than 3 years to the extent of service rendered i.e. for a period equivalent to the numbers of years they have worked in this Institute.

- The Institute reserves the right to issue offer letter to the selected candidate as per the requirement of the Institute. The selected candidate in waiting may be called for reviewed interview after six months of selection.

- The Institute also reserves the right to restrict the number of candidates for Interview to a reasonable limit on the basis of qualification and experience higher than the minimum prescribed in the advertisement & other academic achievements.

- In the case of exceptionally deserving candidates, the Institute reserves the right of granting relaxation in experience or age.
- The summoning of a candidate for interview merely indicates that he/she with others may be possessing suitable qualification for the post and conveys no assurance whatsoever that he/ she will be recommended or selected for the post.

- As per MCi guidelines, Additional training of one year for equivalence of qualification of DNB (broad specialities) with MD/MS & DNB(super-specialities) with DM/MCh.
Those candidates who have undergone DNB training (both broad specialities and super-specialities) in hospital/ institution other than mentioned in (ii) above, shall undergo one additional year of senior residency or equivalent training or research job in a MCI recognized hospital/ institution, such qualifications are notified in the Post graduate Medical Education Regulation 2000.
- It is mandatory for the candidates selected for Nursing Post to be in possession of DNC registration before joining the Institute.
- Medical Checkup and Character Verification/ background check would be carried out of the selected candidate as per the HR Policy of the Institute. In case of adverse report, the selection of the candidate would be null and void.
- Before applying online, the candidate must have a scanned copy of a self signed passport size photograph and his/her signature. Size of the scanned photograph should be between 50 KB to 150 KB and signature should be between 10 KB to 20KB. The scanned photograph and signature must be .jpg, .gif or .png format.

ILBS Recruitment 2016 Eligibility
Minimum educational qualification for ILBS Recruitment 2016 for the Professor, Senior Consultant, Associate Professor, etc. posts is given below.
Qualification & Experience
General Specialties – ENT, Dermatology, Internal Medicine, Obstetrics & Gynaecologist, Psychiatrist, Clinical Psychology
Consultant –MD/MS or equivalent
Experience – MD/MS or equivalent Experience – Minimum 7 years after post qualification
Super Specialities – Ophthalmology, Clinical Hematology, CTVS, Interventional Cardiology, Endocrinology, Neuro Surgery, Rheumatology, Clinical Immunology
Consultant – DM/MCh. Or Equivalent
Experience –
- Minimum 03 years after DM/M.Ch. Preference will be given to consultants whose residence is within a distance of 15 Km from the Institute.
- Consultants preferably should be less than 60 years of age. Management ILBS may consider relaxation in age limit in exceptional cases.
- Distribution of income – The percentage of ILBS Administration charge will be 10% of the total remuneration payable, if it exceeds Rs. 10,000 in a month.
- The Consultant will make themselves available in the Institute as per the requirement of the Institute. On urgent call, they will make themselves available within one hour of such call being made to him.
- Referral to other specialty or consultant – Referral by honorary consultant will be made only to the serving faculty of ILBS or a consultant empanelled with ILBS. Under no circumstances a referral will be made to any consultant not empanelled in ILBS.
- Below the poverty line (BPL) patients shall not be charged any consultation fee as per the Govt. guidelines.
- Period of appointment – The appointment initially will be for a period of two years subject to further renewal by mutual consent. This appointment can be terminated by giving one month notice period from either side.
- DMC registration is mandatory.
Age Limit
- Candidates should Maximum 66 years old. (For More Age limit Check the Advt.)
Age Relaxation
- Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST candidates and by 3 years for OBC candidates. For the post reserved for OBC category, the application of those candidates will be considered who have OBC certificate issued by GNCT of Delhi. In respect of persons with disabilities upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years (10 years for SC/ST and 8 years for OBC) subject to the condition that no age relaxation can be allowed beyond the age of 60 years under normal circumstances except for faculty positions.
- The Institute allows age relaxation to the contractual employees of this Institute (ILBS) who have served the Institute for more than 3 years to the extent of service rendered so as to enable them to apply for the posts higher than their present position.
