(ii) 15 years’ of experience as Assistant Professor in the AGP of Rs.7000 and above or with 8 years’ of service in the AGP of Rs.8000 and above including as Associate Professor along with experience in educational administration; OR Comparable experience in research establishment and/or other institutions of higher education; OR 15 years’ of administrative experience, of which 8 years shall be as Deputy Registrar or an equivalent post.
Finance Officer Appointment from the panel of names of the rank of Director or Deputy Secretary forwarded by the Central Government preferably from organized Accounting and Finance Services of Central Government, e.g., Indian Audit & Accounts Service, Indian Post & Telegraph Finance & Account Service, Indian Civil Account Services, Indian Railway Account Service, Indian Defence Accounts Services etc.
Professor in Physical Education Essential: A. I. An eminent scholar with Ph.D. qualification(s) in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline and published work of high quality, actively engaged in research with evidence of published work with a minimum of 10 publications as books and/or research/policy papers. II. A minimum of ten years of teaching experience in university/college, and/or experience in research at the University/National level institutions/industries, including experience of guiding candidates for research at doctoral level. III. Contribution to educational innovation, design of new curricula and courses, and technology-mediated teaching-learning process. IV. A minimum consolidated API score requirement of 400 points from category III of APIs as given in table 1 Appendix III of UGC Regulations on minimum qualifications for appointment of teachers etc, 2010 and its subsequent amendments from time to time. OR B. An outstanding professional with established reputation in the relevant field, who has made significant contributions to the knowledge in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline, to be substantiated by credentials. Note: UGC Notification dated 11th July, 2016 will be applicable.
Associate Professors in Physical Education Essential: I. Good academic record as defined by the University with a Ph.D. Degree in the concerned/allied/relevant disciplines. II. A Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks in a relevant subject (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed). III. A minimum of eight years of experience of teaching and/or research in an academic/research position equivalent to that of Assistant Professor in a University, College or Accredited Research Institution/industry excluding the period of Ph.D. research, with evidence of published work and a minimum of 5 publications as books and/or research/policy papers. IV. Contribution to educational innovation, design of new curricula and courses, and technology-mediated teaching learning process with evidence of having guided doctoral candidates and research students. V. A minimum consolidated API score requirement of 300 points from category III of APIs as given in table 1 Appendix III of UGC Regulations on minimum qualifications for appointment of teachers etc., 2010 and its subsequent amendments from time to time. Note: UGC Notification dated 11th July, 2016 will be applicable.
Assistant Professor in Physical Education Essential: i) Good academic record as defined by the concerned university with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) at the Master’s Degree level in a relevant subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university. ii) Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET)/JRF for Lecturer/Assistant Professor conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET. iii) Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-clauses (i) and (ii) to this Clause 4.4.1, candidates, who are, or have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009 or the subsequent Regulations if notified by the UGC, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor or equivalent positions in Universities/Colleges/Institutions. “Provided further, the award of degree to candidates registered for the M.Phil./Ph.D. programme prior to July 11, 2009, shall be governed by the provisions of the then existing Ordinances/Bylaws/Regulations of the Institutions awarding the degree and the Ph.D. candidates shall be exempted from the requirement of NET/SLET/SET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor or equivalent positions in Universities/Colleges/Institutions. iv) NET/SLET/SET shall also not be required for such Masters Programmes in disciplines for which NET/SLET/SET is not conducted. Note: UGC Notification dated 11th July, 2016 will be applicable. Desirable: 1. Specialization in Yoga, Judo, Gymnastics, Basketball, Badminton, Cricket, Kabaddi, Kho-kho, Handball, Wrestling, Squash, Tennis, Swimming, Athletics, Hockey, Table-tennis, Football, Weight Lifting. 2. Diploma in Coaching or Sports specialization at Master degree in concerned sports. 3. Inter University/State participation in the game/sports concerned.

Requisite recognized postgraduate qualification in the subject (Preventive & Social Medicine or Medicine, as the case may be). b. Three years teaching experience in concerned subject in a recognized medical college/university as resident/ Registrar /Demonstrator/Tutor either during the post graduation course or after obtaining postgraduate degree in the subject. Note: 1. These posts will have teaching as well as medical duties. 2. Latest Gazette Notification of MCI regarding the qualification and experience will be applicable.
Deputy Registrar Essential: (i) Master’s Degree with at least 55% of the marks or its equivalent grade of ‘B’ in the UGC 7 point scale. (ii) 9 years of experience as Assistant Professor in the AGP of Rs. 6000 and above with experience in educational administration; OR Comparable experience in research establishment and/or other institutions of higher education; OR 5 years’ of administrative experience as Assistant Registrar or in an equivalent post.
Assistant Registrar Essential: Master’s Degree with at least 55% of the marks or its equivalent grade of ‘B’ in the UGC 7 point scale along with good academic record, as laid down by UGC. (*) The deaf are those in whom the sense of hearing is non-functional for ordinary purpose of life. They do not hear, understand sounds at all even with amplified speech. The cases included in this category will be those having hearing loss more than 60 decibels in the better ear (profound impairment) or total loss of hearing in both ears.
Library Information Assistant Essential: (i) Bachelor’s Degree in Library Science. (ii) Two years experience in a Library of an educational Institution/ college / University. (iii) Computer knowledge regarding management of library. (*) The deaf are those in whom the sense of hearing is non-functional for ordinary purpose of life. They do not hear, understand sounds at all even with amplified speech. The cases included in this category will be those having hearing loss more than 60 decibels in the better ear (profound impairment) or total loss of hearing in both ears.
Laboratory Assistant Essential: (i) Bachelor’s Degree (PCM/ Psychology/ Biology group) from a recognized University. (ii) Diploma in Lab Technician/ Pathology/ Paramedical of at least 1 year duration from a recognized Institute. (iii) Two years experience as Lab Assistant/ Lab. Technician in a Hospital/ Laboratory / Nursing Home/ College/ University/ Educational Institute including School.
Arts & Craft Instructor Essential: (i) Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts. (ii) Two years experience of teaching in painting or moldings or arts & crafts in a University/ College/ School.
Lower Division Clerk Essential: (i) Graduate from a recognized University. (ii) A typing speed of 35 w.p.m. in English or 30 w.p.m. in Hindi on computer in a 10-minute test.
Library Clerk Essential: (i) Intermediate or equivalent from a recognized Board. (ii) Certificate course in Library Science. (iii) Computer knowledge and working.

LNIPE Gwalior Recruitment 2017 Others Information

Those candidates, who had already applied for the post of Registrar, as per “Advertisement Notice No. E- 107/101 dated 31.03.2016” published in Employment News and Rozgar Samachar on 16.04.2016, Times of India on 03.04.2016 and Hindustan Times on 03.04.2016, need not apply again. However such candidates may submit their updated application/resume. Applicant for the post of Registrar who had applied earlier or fresh must deposit a demand draft of Rs. 300/- (NIL for SC, ST and PH) in favour of Registrar, LNIPE, Gwalior or receipt in original (paid in Institute’s Accounts Section), LNIPE, Gwalior.

The provisions of PWD Act, 1995 have been taken care of while advertising these posts.



The prescribed application form along with general instructions is available on the Institute’s website lnupe.gov.in, which also forms part of this Notice and may be downloaded/ typed and used to apply for any of the posts.

One application form will be considered for one post only. Therefore, the candidates desirous to be considered for the posts at Gwalior as well as Guwahati, will be required to submit applications separately.

The qualifications, experience, upper age-limit etc. is in accordance with the provisions of LNIPE SBCSR, and LNIPE Service (Recruitment) Rules, which are available on the Institute’s web-site www.lnipe.gov.in.

The candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PH applying for un-reserved posts are not entitled to any relaxation in age limit and the benefit of reservations for the reserved posts will be available as per the instructions of Government of India as amended from time to time.

Incomplete applications and those received after the closing date shall be summarily rejected without making any reference to the candidates.

Candidates serving in Central Government/State Government/Central or State Autonomous Bodies should submit the applications ONLY through proper channel, failing which their candidature will not be considered.
