Guidelines for Ex-Servicemen:

  •  Upper Age will be relaxed for Ex-Servicemen as per Rules.
  •  An Ex-Servicemen who has once joined a Government job on civil side after availing of the benefits given to him/her as an Ex-Servicemen for his/her re-employment, his/her Ex-Servicemen status for the purpose of the re-employment in Government job ceases.
  •  Ex-Servicemen with equivalent qualifications are eligible. An Ex-Servicemen candidate has to produce at the time of Certificate Verification a copy of the Service / Discharge Book along with Pension Payment Order and civil equivalent certificate of his/her qualification with percentage of marks issued by the Competent Authority and valid Employment Exchange Card with Registration Number mentioned during online application.
  •  Those who are still in defence service should submit a certificate from a competent authority that they will be relieved from defence services, on or before 01.03.2018. This certificate shall be verified prior to medical examination along with other certificates/documents including valid Employment Exchange Registration Card with Registration Number mentioned in the online registration form.
  •  Reservations for Ex-Servicemen will be across the trades / disciplines on horizontal / interlocking basis. If suitable Ex-Servicemen candidates are not available for filling up of posts reserved for Ex-Servicemen, the same will be filled by candidates other than Ex-Servicemen.

RESERVATIONS for PWDs :

  • The posts of PWDs in VH, HH and OH categories are reserved as per existing Government of India guidelines.
  •  Reservations for Persons with Disabilities are on horizontal / interlocking basis.
  •  In PWD Category, posts are reserved for only Orthopedically Handicapped (OL – One Leg Affected); Hearing Handicapped; Visually Handicapped (LV – Low Vision)
  •  Candidates having a minimum of 40% disability are only eligible to apply under PWD category.
  •  The Persons with Disability(PWD) candidates required to produce valid Disability Certificate with a clear mention of Degree (percentage) of Disability issued by the Medical Board duly constituted as per the State Govt. / Central Govt. as per the provisions of Persons with Disabilities (Equal Opportunities, Protection of Rights and Full Participation) Act 1995.

Guidelines for Persons with Disabilities (VH-LV) candidates using a Scribe:

The visually handicapped candidates can take the help of a scribe during written examination. In all such cases where a scribe is used, the following rules will apply:

  • The candidate will have to arrange his / her own scribe at his/her own cost.
  • The scribe should be from an academic stream different from that stipulated for the post, he should possess less qualification than the candidate with not more than 60% of marks in his own academic stream.
  •  Both the candidate as well as scribe will have to give a suitable undertaking confirming that the scribe fulfils all the stipulated eligibility criteria for a scribe mentioned above. Further in case it later transpires that he/she did not fulfill any laid down eligibility criteria or suppressed material facts, the candidature of the applicant will stand cancelled, irrespective of the written test result.
  •  Those candidates who use a scribe shall be eligible for an extra time of 20 minutes for every hour of the examination or part thereof i.e. 40 minutes for 2 hours examination.
  •  The scribe arranged by the candidate should not be a candidate for the examination. If violation of the above is detected at any stage of the process, candidature of both the candidate and the scribe will be cancelled. Candidates eligible for and who wish to use the services of a scribe in the examination should invariably carefully indicate the same in the online application form. Any subsequent request may not be favorably entertained.

RINL Recruitment 2017 Pay Scale | Salary

Junior Trainee:

  •  Candidates selected for the post will be required to undergo training for a period of twenty four (24) months. During training period, candidates with ITI qualification have to undergo one year Skill Development Course with certification from National Skill Development Corporation, which may be extended for cases where progress during training is found not satisfactory.
  •  During Training, Junior Trainees will be paid a monthly stipend of Rs.10,700/- (consolidated) during the first year and a monthly stipend of Rs.12,200/- (consolidated) during the remaining period of training.
  •  On satisfactory completion of training, Junior Trainees will be considered for appointment on probation to regular post i.e. Technician, subject to availability of vacancies in any Operation / Maintenance / Service / Mines area with a minimum Basic Pay of Rs.16,800 in the pay scale of Rs.16,800-3%-24,110/- (S-3 Grade).

Field Assistant Trainee:

  • Candidates selected for the post will be required to undergo training for a period of twenty four (24) months. During training period, candidates shall be imparted with one year Skill up gradation to National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) certification level from National Skill Development Corporation, which may be extended for cases where progress during training is found not satisfactory.
  •  During Training, Field Assistant Trainees will be paid a monthly stipend of `8,600/- (consolidated) during the first year and a monthly stipend of Rs.10,000/- (consolidated) during the remaining period of training.
  •  On satisfactory completion of training, Field Assistant Trainee will be considered for appointment on probation to regular post i.e. Field Assistant, subject to availability of vacancies in any Operation / Maintenance / Service / Mines area with a minimum Basic Pay of Rs.15,830 in the pay scale of Rs.15,830- 3%-22,150/- (S-1 Grade).

COST TO COMPANY (CTC) (After Training Period):

Rs.4.7 Lakhs per annum (approximately) for S-3 Grade (after successful completion of training period as Junior Trainee) & Rs.4.38 Lakhs per annum (approximately) for S-1 Grade (after successful completion of training period as Field Assistant Trainee) which includes Pay and Dearness Allowance, Conveyance Allowance, Special Allowance, Annual Performance Reward, LTC/LTA, Leave and Encashment of Earned Leave, Contributory Provident Fund, Gratuity etc. It may be noted that the retirement benefits like CPF, Gratuity etc., are payable only on separation (resignation / termination not included) of the employee from the services of the Company. In addition to the above, the Company offers free medical treatment for self, family and dependent parents and accommodation shall be provided as per availability in Company’s Township.

Junior Trainee:

Written Test will be conducted on General Aptitude (including knowledge in English and Telugu) and Domain (Mechanical / Electrical / Metallurgy). Test papers will be set in bilingual in English and Telugu. Candidates shortlisted based on performance in written test will be called for Certificate Verification. Merit list will be prepared separately for each branch and candidates will be selected as per the vacancies in each branch.

  • Selection will be through Written Test and Certificate Verification.
  •  Candidates will have to appear for the written test at their own cost. Written test will be conducted at test centre(s) in Andhra Pradesh.
  •  Likely date for Written Test is 9 th July 2017 (Forenoon).

Field Assistant Trainee:

Written Test will be conducted on General Aptitude (including knowledge in English and Telugu). Test papers will be set in bilingual in English and Telugu. Candidates shortlisted based on performance in written test will be called for Certificate Verification followed by Physical test.

  • Selection will be through Written Test, Certificate Verification & Physical Test for other than PWD candidates and through Written Test & Certificate Verification for PWD candidates.

Candidate should be of sound physique, free from any defect. The above physical standards are only indicative and not exhaustive. No relaxation in these standards will be made. It is in the interest of the candidates to ensure that they fulfill the above criteria.

The above posts belongs to Non-Executive cadre, hence candidates may please note that furnishing of valid Employment Exchange Registration particulars at appropriate column in the on-line registration form is mandatory. This is also applicable to those still in Defence service.

STEPS FOR APPLYING

  • STEP 1: Log on to www.vizagsteel.com and click on the link “Careers”
  • STEP 2: Read CAREFULLY all the instructions given on the website.
  • STEP 3: Have the following readily available:

a) e-mail ID (which must be valid for minimum period of next Twelve Months). Candidates are advised to keep their e-mail ID alive for receiving advices, viz. Call letters etc.

b) Latest passport size photograph in digital format (.jpg file of 200 KB to 500 KB size) and digital format of the signature (.jpg file of 30 KB to 100 KB size) for uploading with the application form. The recommended dimensions of the passport photograph are 150(W) X 200(H) pixels. The recommended dimensions of digital format of the signature is 150(W) X 50(H) pixels

c) Candidates are advised not to do the online submission of Application through mobile phone, which may cause erroneous entry of data.

STEP 4: Registration

  • a) Enter the correct basic details like Full Name, DOB, Category, Gender, Email, Contact No., valid employment exchange registration etc. subsequently to get Login credentials.
  • b) After entering the basic details, candidate will get SMS and Email intimating about Login Credentials.
  • c) Login with the credentials provided. Password will be Date of Birth (DoB) in ddmmyyyy format.
  • d) After entering the basic details, “My Page” will be generated for each candidate bearing entire information as filled by the candidate. “My Page” will provide information regarding “Pending Steps”, which should be completed before closing date of registration.

STEP 5: Upload Photograph & Signature: First read the guidelines for uploading of Photograph & Signature and then the candidate is required to upload a recently taken digital/scanned Photograph [size 200 KB-500 KB] and Signature [size 30KB to 100 KB] in JPG/ JPEG format. The photograph to be uploaded must be 6 months latest from on-line registration opening date.

STEP 6: Personal Details & Centre Choice: Enter all the personal details and select Examination Centre from available Centre list carefully. Centre once selected cannot be changed later.

STEP 7: Qualification Details: Fill correct Qualification & other relevant details like Qualifying Examination Name, Discipline, Institute, Course Completion Date (which should be on or before 1.3.2017), % of Marks etc.

STEP 8: Experience Details Fill Experience Details like Organisation Name, Designation, Start Date etc. as applicable, if any.

STEP 9: Fee Payment (For Gen/OBC candidates) a) Download the application fee payment challan with name, date of birth, registration number and photograph printed on it. b) Deposit the fee in SBI and obtain the stamped Counterfoil (Candidate’s copy) along with deposit Journal Number. c) Log on to the Online application site and enter the fee payment details like Journal Number, Deposit Date, Bank Branch Code etc.

STEP 10: Print Registration Form: Candidate must take print of registration form and must check all information filled in the registration form carefully before final submission of registration form. After submission of Registration form no request for correction/changes will be entertained. Taking print of Registration form is essential.

STEP 11: Candidates who do not complete the Registration process by not entering all their details and do not submit their Registration Slip will not be considered for the written test even if they have uploaded their photograph and signature and/or paid their application fees.

STEP 12: The online registration site opens on 08-06-2017 and closes on 21-06-2017. All correspondence with the candidates shall be done through e-mail / announcement on the website only. Information regarding examination schedule / admit card /call letters etc shall be provided through e-mail / to be downloaded from website. For this purpose, candidates are advised to visit our website www.vizagsteel.com regularly for further instructions. Responsibility of receiving / downloading and printing of admit card shall be of the candidate. Company will not be responsible for any loss of e-mail sent, due to invalid / wrong email ID provided by the candidate or due to other reasons.

STEP 13: Candidates are advised to visit the website on or after 03-07-2017 for further instructions regarding downloading of Admit Cards.

(Please retain five identical photographs to be used at the time of Written Test/ Change of photograph at the time of Written Test shall render the applicant ineligible).

  • 1. Only Indian Nationals need to apply.
  • 2. Only Online applications through website www.vizagsteel.com will be accepted. No other form of application will be accepted.
  • 3. Incomplete/illegible/unsigned/multiple applications or applications not in prescribed format will be rejected.
  • 4. Candidates possessing higher qualifications which are not permissible (as mentioned at “Qualifications” column above) and suppress the same while applying will be rejected. If any of the above shortcoming(s) is/are detected even after appointment, his/her services are liable to be terminated without any notice.
  • 5. The details entered by the candidate at the time of online registration are final and binding. While applying the candidates should enter their full name as it appears in the SSC / Matriculation certificate.
  • 6. All qualifications should be from a recognized Board/ University/ Institution in India. All certificates should be in English or Hindi. Candidates possessing the required qualification in their respective stream through Distance Mode / Correspondence Course / Off Campus are not eligible to apply.
  • 7. For calculation of percentage of marks acquired by the candidate in ITI / Diploma in Engineering, the percentage / marks considered by the Board / University / Institution for award of the Provisional Certificate will be taken. In absence of the same, marks acquired and the total marks of all semesters / years will be considered.
  • 8. Depending on the requirement, the Company reserves the right to cancel / restrict / enlarge / curtail the recruitment process as well as the number of positions in each branch or overall, keeping in view the Plant’s needs, without any further notice and without assigning any reason thereof.
  • 9. Candidates are advised to ensure while applying that they fulfill the eligibility criteria and other requirements mentioned in this advertisement and that the particulars furnished by them are correct in all respects.   • 14. Candidates working in Government / Semi-Government / Public Undertakings will have to produce “No Objection Certificate(NOC)” from the present employer at the time of Certificate Verification.
  • 15. Employees working in RINL-VSP should apply through proper channel failing which their applications will be rejected. In case, during any stage of Recruitment process it is found that such candidates have suppressed the information about their employment in RINL-VSP and have not applied through proper channel, their candidature will be rejected.
  • 16. Candidates should retain copies of the Registration slip and counterfoil of the Challan of application fees for future reference.
  • 17. Candidates not depositing exact amount of application fees will be rejected.
  • 18. In case of any overwriting or tampering of Registration Slip, the candidature of the candidate shall be rejected. If there is a mistake while registering on-line, the candidate has to register again before the last date. Latest registration only shall be considered.
  • 19. Applications not in the prescribed format or without digital photograph and signature or fee payment challan (not for SC/ST/PWD candidates) will be rejected.

  • 21. Based on performance in written test, candidates will be shortlisted for Certificate Verification for Junior Trainee post and Physical Test for Field Assistant Trainee post.

RINL shall not be responsible for any loss of e-mail sent, due to invalid / wrong e-mail ID provided by the candidate or for delay / non receipt of information if a candidate fails to access his / her e-mail / website in time or due to any network related data loss at any stage of the recruitment process.   • 23. Candidates found to be furnishing false declaration / certificate or indulging in malpractices or using of un-fair means or bringing influence during any stage of the selection process will be disqualified and also debarred from participating in future recruitments of RINL-VSP.
  • 24. If the candidates do not fulfill any of the conditions given in the Recruitment Advertisement / Employment Notification his / her candidature will be cancelled at any stage whenever the discrepancy is noticed.
  • 25. The decision of RINL-VSP in all matters relating to eligibility, acceptance, rejection of the application, issue of Admit Cards, Mode of Selection, conduct of written test, allotment of examination centers, verification of certificates/testimonials and selection will be final and binding on the candidates and no enquiry or correspondence will be entertained in this regard.
