• The next NTPC Diploma Trainee Exam 2018 (all India exam) 13/03/2016.

NTPC Diploma Trainee Application Form – How to apply:

• To apply visit www.ntpccareers.net and click on “Diploma Trainee – 2018 (Only online mode of application is entertained). Read the Diploma Trainee advertisement before proceeding for online registration.

• The NTPC Diploma Trainee application form will appear in the screen. The candidate is required to fill up the application form. Candidate has to upload photograph & copy of pay-in-slip (in case of General/OBC candidates) in jpg file of not more than 500 KB. After filling the application form & uploading the jpg files as mentioned above, the candidate will click on Preview button.

NTPC Diploma Trainee Eligibility

• Upper Age limit is 27 years as on 10.09.2015. For Land Oustees upper age limit is 35 years as on 10.09.2015.

Electrical Stream Qualification

• Full time regular Diploma in Electrical / Electrical & Electronics Engineering with minimum 70% marks.

Mechanical STREAM QUALIFICATION

• Mechanical Full time regular Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 70% marks.

Civil STREAM QUALIFICATION

• Full time regular Diploma in Civil Engineering with minimum 70% marks.

C&I STREAM QUALIFICATION

• Full time regular Diploma in Instrumentation/Electronics Engineering with minimum 70% marks

Exam Pattern & Syllabus

NTPC Diploma Trainee Exam Pattern

• NTPC All India written test (online) will be conducted. The test can be taken in Hindi or English.

• Eligible candidates will have to undergo two hours objective type written examination / test. Based on the merit and requirement, the list of successful candidates for
  appearing in interview will be made available at www.ntpccareers.net and communication will be sent to such candidates.

• All such short listed candidates will have to appear for Personal Interview

• 1/4th mark will be deducted for each wrong / multiple answered questions.

• The test will be in two parts.

• Part-I will consist of 70 multiple-choice questions from Chemistry discipline.

• Part-II will be Aptitude Test and will consist of 50 multiple-choice questions on English, Quantitative aptitude & Reasoning. Candidates have to show competency in both the sections separately as both the sections will have minimum cut off marks.

• 1/4th mark will be deducted for each wrong / multiple answered questions.
