Odisha DET 2022 Exam Date
- Every year DET exam conducted by Directorate of Technical Education & Training, Odisha
Killamaidan, Buxibazar, Cuttack in the month of May. Last year Odisha DET held on 17.05.2015.
Odisha DET 2022 Online Application Form
- The submission of Online application form through website can be made from February.
- The Odisha DET 2022 Information Brochure will be available ONLINE on the websites.
- Candidates are advised to read carefully this Odisha DET information brochure, check their eligibility and applicable reservation category etc. before filling and submitting the application.
- To appear the DET 2022 examination, the candidate has to apply through ONLINE mode only and make payment of application fee (Non-Refundable) amounting to (i) Rs.200/- (Rupees Two Hundred) for SC/ST/PC candidates, (ii) Rs.350/- (Rupees Three Hundred Fifty) for Female candidates and (iii) Rs.450/- (Rupees Four Hundred Fifty) for Male candidates only through ATM-cum-Debit Card/ Credit Card/ Net Banking/ e-Challan at any Branch of AXIS Bank/ IDBI Bank.
- The candidate is advised to remember the Application Number, User ID, Pass Word & Roll Number for future correspondence.
Odisha DET 2022 Institutes/Colleges
- At present there are 150 Engineering Schools/ Polytechnics (33 Govt. / Govt. Aided + 117 Private) in the state with approved intake of 47,229 in 30 disciplines of Engineering, Non-Engineering and Film & TV courses.
- Further, few new Govt. Engineering Schools/ Polytechnics are likely to come up during the session 2022-23 against which admission may also be taken. Details will be available in www.detodisha.nic.in website.
Odisha DET 2022 Eligibility
The eligibility criteria of the Polytechnic diploma and engineering of Odisha DET exam 2022 is as follows.
Diploma and Engineering Courses
First semester diploma courses (All Engineering except Mining & Drilling)
- Minimum Qualification : Pass in HSC examination conducted by BSE, Odisha/ 10th standard examination declared equivalent by BSE, Odisha and obtained at least 35 % marks in aggregate, securing 30% marks in each subject at the qualifying examination with English, Math & Science subjects.
- Duration : 3 Years
- Age Limit : Lower age 14 years and Upper age –No bar
First semester diploma courses (Mining & Drilling Engineering)
- Minimum Qualification : Pass in HSC examination conducted by BSE, Odisha/ 10th
standard examination declared equivalent by BSE, Odisha and obtained at least 35 % marks in aggregate securing 30% marks in each subject at the qualifying examination with
English, Math & Science subjects. - Duration : 3 Years
- Age Limit : Lower age 16 years and Upper age –No bar
Diploma courses under Part Time Programme
- Minimum Qualification : Pass in HSC examination conducted by BSE, Odisha/
10th standard examination declared equivalent by BSE, Odisha and obtained at least 35 % marks in aggregate securing 30% marks in each subject at the qualifying examination with English, Math & Science subjects - Duration : 4 Years
- Age Limit : Lower age is 16 years for Mining & Drilling Engg., 14 years for other and
Upper age –No bar
Diploma Non-Engineering
Modern Office Management (MOM)
- Minimum Qualification : Pass in 10+2 Examination from CHSE, Odisha or its
equivalent examination in Science/ Arts/ Commerce recognized by CHSE securing 30% marks in each subject at the qualifying examination. - Duration : 3 Years
- Age Limit : Lower age 16 years and Upper age –No bar
Hotel Management & Catering Technology (HM&CT)
- Minimum Qualification : Pass in +2 Examination from CHSE, Odisha or its Equivalent
examination with Science/ Arts/ Commerce and obtained at least 35% marks in aggregate securing 30% marks in each subject at the qualifying examination. - Duration : 3 Years
- Age Limit : Lower age 16 years and Upper age –No bar
Pharmacy
- Minimum Qualification : Pass in +2 Science Examination from CHSE, Odisha or its
equivalent examination and obtained at least 35% marks in aggregate with Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Mathematics as approved by PCI securing 30% marks in each subject at the qualifying examination. - Duration : 2 Years
- Age Limit : Lower age 16 years and Upper age –No bar
Beauty Culture
- Minimum Qualification :Pass in HSC examination conducted by BSE, Odisha/ 10th
standard examination declared equivalent by BSE, Odisha and obtained at least 35 % marks in aggregate, securing 30% marks in each subject at the qualifying examination with
English, Math & Science subjects. - Duration : 2 Years
- Age Limit : Lower age 14 years and Upper age –No bar
Diploma In Engineering / Technology Under Lateral Entry
Third semester diploma courses (Lateral admission for eligible branches only). Except courses running in 2nd shift & part time Programme.
- Minimum Qualification :Pass in +2 Science Examination from CHSE, Odisha or its
equivalent examination with PCM / +2 Vocational (2 years course) in any Engineering Trades /2 years ITI in Engineering Trade/COE Trade with pass in HSC examination conducted by BSE, Odisha/ 10th standard examination declared equivalent by BSE, Odisha securing 30% marks in each subject at the qualifying examination. - Duration : 2 Years
- Age Limit : Lower age 14 years and Upper age –No bar
Diploma In Film & TV Courses of BPFTIO, Cuttack
- There three courses in this domain, the Age limit and Duration is same for the following three course.. Cinematography, Sound & TV Engg., Film & Video Editing.
- Duration : 3 Years
- Age Limit : 16 to 28 years as on 1.6.2015. Upper age limit is relaxed by 3 years for SC/ST
candidates.
- Minimum Qualification :10+2 science from any State Board/ICSE/CBSE with
minimum 35% marks in aggregate.
Syllabus & Exam Pattern
Odisha DET 2022 Exam Pattern
- There will be multiple choice type questions. The number of questions will be 100 & duration two and half hours.
- Each question shall have four answers (including one or more correct answer(s) and the examinee shall have to blacken only the appropriate circle (which he/she considers most correct) in HB pencil or black / blue ball point.
- Each correct answer shall fetch four marks whereas each incorrect answer will lead to deduction of one mark. Each un-attempted question will fetch zero. If more than one circle is darkened for one question, it will be treated as an incorrect answer and one mark will be deducted.
