- The Pearl Academy of Fashion, or PAF, as it is shortly known, is one of the most respected institutes of fashion and design in India. It will conduct the PAF entrance test for admission to its 4-year degree courses in Fashion Design, Fashion Merchandising & Production, Fashion Retail & Merchandising, Communication Design, Textile Design and Jewelery Design. In 2010 the Pearl Academy of Fashion entrance exam will be held on May 30.
Pearl Academy Admission 2022:
- The admission process is divided into two stages..
- Stage 1: Written Admission Test in 24 cities (approx. 27 Test Centers) across the country
- Stage 2: Personal Interview (including portfolio evaluation / material handling skills test for Design streams).
Pearl Academy 2022 Exam Date
- The Pearl Academy of Fashion, conducted Written Admission Test in 24 cities for (UG, PG & Professional Diploma only) in the month of April. Last yest it was held on 11 April 2015.

- Online Application Forms available from November and Printed Application Forms available from November.

- Click on View/Print Online Application Form
- Enter your Online Application Number and Date of Birth to view/print your filled Online Application
- Candidates applying online through Demand Draft are required to send print out of the application
form along with DD
Pearl Academy Entrance 2022 Eligibility
- For admission to 4 year BA (Hons) Degree course in Fashion Design (FD), Textile Design (TD), Communication Design (CD), Jewelery Design (JD), Fashion Merchandising and Production (FMP) and Fashion Retail Merchandising (FRM) at Pearl Academy of Fashion, candidates need to pass the 12th standard or equivalent with at least 50% marks in aggregate in any stream.
Admission Test:
Stage 1: Written Admission Test in 24 cities (approx. 27 Test Centers) across the country
Stage 2: Personal Interview (including portfolio evaluation / material handling skills test for Design streams).
- General Proficiency Test (GPT) is administered to judge a candidate’s proficiency in the English
language (comprehension, vocabulary and expression), Language Ability, Logical Reasoning,
Quantitative Ability, Data Interpretation, Basic Mathematics, etc.
- Design Aptitude Test (DAT) examines candidates’ aptitude for creativity, drawing, design ability, power
of observation and imagination, sensitivity to environment and communication skills.
Applicants have the option of opting for maximum 2 course choices. Applicants opting for a Design
course in any of the choices will be required to appear for Design Aptitude Test (DAT).

The medium / language of the Test will be English only.
General Proficiency Test (GPT) is administered to judge a candidate’s proficiency in the English language (comprehension, vocabulary and expression), Language Ability, Logical reasoning, Quantitative ability, Data Interpretation, basic Mathematics, etc.
Design Aptitude Test (DAT) examines candidates’ aptitude for creativity, drawing, design ability, power of observation and imagination, sensitivity to environment and communication skills.
Applicants have the option of opting for maximum 2 course choices. Applicants opting for a Design course in any of the choices will be required to appear for Design Aptitude Test (DAT).

A candidate is judged on various parameters by a panel as listed below:

- Material Handling Skills (for Design streams)
All candidates are required to undergo a Personal Interview after the Written Admission Test at their respective Entrance Examination Centre. Candidates appearing for the Written Test in Delhi / NCR, Noida, Jaipur, Mumbai and Chennai centres are required to appear for the Personal Interview at respective Pearl Academy Campuses only.
