VITEEE 2022

• Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Examination (VITEEE 2022) generally helds on Mid April. Vellore Institute of technology(VIT) provides Admission to B.Tech. Degree Programme based on VITEEE 2022 conducted all over India. VITEEE 2022 is a two and a half hour multiple choice type exam. Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) is the first educational institution in India to get international accreditation for its programmes.

VITEEE Exam Date 2022

• Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) conducts common entrance examination known as VITEEE 2022 for admission into various courses in engineering and technology. The programs are offered at various schools of engineering and technology.

• Generally the exam held in the month of April. Last year VITEEE was conducted on April 8 to April 19, 2015.

VITEEE Application Form 2022

• The submission of On-Line application form through website can be made from January.

• Online application form will be available from 27^th November 2015 onwards . Cost of Online Application Form : Rs.960 Get ready to submit the application form, after following the below instructions:

• Candidates are advised to read carefully this information brochure, check their eligibility and applicable reservation category etc. before filling and submitting the application.

• Candidates can also apply online at www.vit.ac.in through the following mode :
  (i) Net banking /Credit card/Debit card
  (ii) DD mode (online applicants need to pay ` 960/- only).

• Advertisement given regarding issue of application forms, important dates etc., in all leading newspapers all over India and notified in the VIT website.

Offline Application Forms

• Cost of Offline Application Form : Rs.990
• Applications will be available in selected Head Post Offices

VITEEE Eligibility 2022

• A pass in 10+2 or its equivalent with 50% average marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or Biology (PCM/PCB) for candidates belonging to SC/ST, students hailing from Jammu Kashmir and from the North Eastern states.

• A pass in 10+2 or its equivalent with a minimum average of 60% of marks in Physics, Chemical and Mathematics or Biology (PCM/PCB).

• Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB) candidates are eligible only for B.Tech Bioinformatics, Bio-Medical engineering and Biotechnology programmes.

• Candidates appearing for the 10+2 examination in March/April are also eligible to apply.

• Candidates should NOT be more than 20 years old.

Online Test Booking System

• Online Test booking system is a web based online scheduling system available at www.vit.ac.in.

• Candidate should first choose the Test City (This should be the same as chosen in the application form) and then the date and the batch for the exams.

• The schedule bookings are done on a ‘first-come first served basis’, and are subject to the availability of the test centre date and time.

• For both OMR and online applicants, the password will be sent by email to the email address mentioned in the application form.Therefore, it is mandatory to give valid email address.

• The Online Test Booking Password must be kept confidential. Do not disclose it to others or write them down or store them in a file on your computer or as auto save password

• A slot once booked cannot be changed. Request for change of  test city, date or slot will not be entertained under any circumstances.

Exam Pattern & Syllabus

VITEEE 2022 Exam Pattern

• The duration of the entrance examination will be of 2 hours 30 minutes.

• In the test only objective type Questions are asked. Computer Based Test (CBT). The Question paper will be in English only.

• Each part has 40 questions and English has 5 questions with each question carrying one mark. Each question is followed by 4 alternative answers

• Questions are based on State Board of Higher Secondary school and CBSE syllabus only.

• There is no negative marking.

• Candidates attempting Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics are eligible for all the 14 programmes offered.

• Candidates attempting Physics, Chemistry & Biology are eligible for B.Tech. Bio-Medical Engineering, Biotechnology and Computer Science and Engg (Spec. in Bioinformatics) programmes only.

• The selection of pattern (Physics/Chemistry/ Mathematics or Biology/English) has to be decided at the time of slot booking.

VITEEE Admit Card 2022 Download

• The e-Admit card will be generated once the candidate has booked his/her schedule through the Online Test Booking System.

• The e-Admit card will be auto-generated for only those candidates who book a slot using the Online Test Booking system before the last date.

• The e-Admit card will be made available for candidates on www.vit.ac.in. Candidate should provide the application form number and Online Test Booking password to download the e- Admit card.

• The copy of the e-Admit card will also be emailed to the candidate.• Candidates must provide valid email ID in the application form. The e-Admit card will not be despatched to candidates via post or fax.

• The Admit Card should be kept safely and brought to the examination. It should be produced on demand. A candidate who does not possess the Admit Card issued by the Institute shall not be permitted for the examination under any circumstances.

• Candidates will be permitted to enter the Examination Hall only on verification of their Admit Card.
