UPSC Notification 2017:

  • UPSC conducted different examination for admission to different vacancies at Govt. of India. Commission’s advertisements containing details of the various examinations are published in Employment News/ Rozgar Samachar and leading daily newspapers of the Country, generally in their Saturday editions.
  • For further details, please see the Notice/Rules for the Examination, after the same has been notified. The following notification dates are tentative date, please verify with official website.
  • Combined Medical Services  (CMS) 2015 : Notification date :  September to October 2015
  •  Combined Defence Services (CDS)  2015 : Notification date :  September to October 2015
  • National Defence Academy & Naval Academy (NDA & NA) 2015 : Notification date :  October to October 2015
  • Indian Engineering Services (IES)  2017 : Notification date :  January to February 2017
  • Civil Services (Preliminary) 2017 : Notification date : February to March 2017
  • Indian Forest Service (IFS) 2017 : Notification date : March to April 2017
  • Special Class Railway Apprentices (SCRA) 2017 : Notification date : March to April 2017
  • National Defence Academy & Naval Academy (NDA & NA) Examination II 2017 : Notification date : April to May 2017
  • Combined Defence Services Examination (II) 2017 : Notification date : May to June 2017
  • Central Police Forces (CPF) 2017 : Notification date : May to June 2017
  • Civil Services (Main) 2017 : Notification date :

UPSC CMS Exam 2017:

Candidates appearing at the final M.B.B.S. Examination also eligible to compete subject to certain conditions. Selected candidates will be appointed only after they have completed compulsory rotating internship.

  • Minimum academic qualifications M.B.B.S. Degree
  • Age:  Below 32
  • Candidates appearing at the final M.B.B.S. Examination also eligible to compete subject to certain conditions. Selected candidates will be appointed only after they have completed compulsory rotating internship.

UPSC CDS Exam 2017:

Candidates appearing at the degree or equivalent examination also eligible to compete subject to certain conditions.

Minimum academic qualification

  • For IMA and OTA :- Degree of a recognised University or equivalent. Age: 19 – 24
  • For Naval Academy :- Degree in Engineering. Age: 19 – 22
  • For Air Force Academy :- Degree of a recognised University (with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level) or Bachelor of Engineering. Age: 19 – 25

UPSC CDS Exam 2017:

Candidates appearing at the 12th Class under the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination also eligible to compete subject to certain conditions.

  • i) For Army Wing of National Defence Academy : – 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University.
  • (ii) For Air Force and Naval Wings of NDA and for 10+2 (Cadet Entry Scheme) at Naval Academy : 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics conducted by a State Education Board or a University.

UPSC IES Exam 2017:

Candidates appearing at Engineering degree or equivalent examination also eligible to compete subject to certain conditions.

Minimum academic qualification

  • A degree in Engineering from a recognised University or eqivalent. M.Sc Degree or its equivalent with Wireless Communications, Electronics, Radio Physics or Radio Engineering as special subject acceptable for certain Services/posts only.
  • Age Limit : 21 – 30 years

UPSC Civil Services (Preliminary) Exam 2017:

  • Candidates appearing at the degree examination also eligible to compete subject to certain conditions. A degree from a recognised University or equivalent. Age Limit : 21 – 30 years.

UPSC IFS Exam 2017:

Candidates appearing at the degree examination (with prescribed subjects) also eligible to compete subject to certain conditions.

Minimum Qualification :

  • A Bachelor’s degree with at least one of the subjects namely, Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology or a degree in Agriculture or Forestry or Engineering of a recognised University or equivalent.
  • Age Limit: 21 – 30 years

UPSC SCRA Exam 2017

Candidates appearing at the 12th Class under the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination also eligible to compete subject to certain conditions.

Minimum Qualification :

  •  Intermediate or Senior Secondary (12 years) Examination under 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent with Mathematics and at least one of the subjects Physics & Cheministry as subjects of the Examination in 1st or Iind Division.
  • Age Limit: 17 – 21 years

UPSC NDA & NA Exam 2017

Candidates appearing at the 12th Class under the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination also eligible to compete subject to certain conditions.

Minimum Qualification :

  • (i) For Army Wing of National Defence Academy : – 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University.
  • (ii) For Air Force and Naval Wings of NDA and for 10+2 (Cadet Entry Scheme) at Naval Academy : 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics conducted by a State Education Board or a University
  • Age Limit: 16½ – 19 years

Candidates appearing at the 12th Class under the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination also eligible to compete subject to certain conditions.

Minimum Qualification :

  • (i) For Army Wing of National Defence Academy : – 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University.
  • (ii) For Air Force and Naval Wings of NDA and for 10+2 (Cadet Entry Scheme) at Naval Academy : 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics conducted by a State Education Board or a University

UPSC CPS Exam 2017

Candidates appearing at the degree or equivalent examination also eligible to compete subject to certain conditions.

Minimum Qualification :

  • A degree from a recognised University or equivalent.
  • Age Limit: 20 – 25years

UPSC IES/ISS Exam 2017

Candidates appearing at the Postgraduate degree or equivalent examination in the relevant disciplines also eligible to compete subject to certain conditions.

Minimum Qualification :

  • A Post-graduate degree in Economics/Applied Economics/Business Economics/Econometrics for the IES and a Post-graduate degree in Statistics/Mathematical Statistics/Applied Statistics for the ISS, from a recognised University or equivalent.
  • Age Limit: 21 – 30 Years

UPSC Geologists Exam 2017

Candidates appearing at their Master’s Degree or equivalent examination (with prescribed subjects) also eligible to compete subject to certain conditions

Minimum Qualification :

  • Master’s Degree in Geology or Applied Geology or Marine Geology from a recognised University or equivalent.
  • Age Limit: 21 – 32 Years
