- AIPVT is an Entrance Test conducted by the Veterinary Council of India for filling up 15% of All India Quota seats in the Veterinary Colleges in India (except from Jammu & Kashmir State.
In an important notice to all medical aspirants, the All India Pre Veterinary Test (AIPVT) 2022 will be held through National Eligibility cum Entrance Test i.e NEET 2022.
AIPVT 2022 Exam Date
- Veterinary Council of India conducted All India Pre-Veterinary Test in short (AIPVT) and its a offline pen and paper test. every year in the month of June. Last year it was conducted on 20.06.2015.
AIPVT 2022 Application Form
- Candidates can apply for AIPVT 2022 “Online” only. There is no other mode of application. Submission of Online Application normally starts from April.
- AIPVT 2022 Information Bulletin can be downloaded from the Council’s website. Candidates are advised to go through the Information Bulletin carefully and ensure their eligibility themselves to appear at the All India Pre-Veterinary Test (AIPVT)–2022.
- Before you apply you should have (only one mobile no. and e-mail ID are valid for one application).
- Candidates must follow the instructions strictly as given in the Information Bulletin and on Council’s website www.aipvt.vci.nic.in and www.vci.nic.in.

- Fill in the Registration Page.
- Fill in the Application Form and NOTE DOWN THE REGISTRATION NO.
- Upload photo,sign,Parents/Guardians Sign,Thumb Impression & Self Declaration*
- Make Payment of Fee through Credit Card/Debit Card or by e-challan.
- Print Confirmation Page after Successful remittance of fee .
AIPVT 2022 Eligibility
AGE LIMIT
- He/She has attained or will attain the age of Seventeen (17) years as on and Maximum 25 years as on 31 st December, 2018.
- Candidate must have passed any of the following qualifying examinations : The Higher/Senior Secondary Examination or the Indian School Certificate Examination which is equivalent to 10+2 Higher/Senior Secondary Examination after a period of 12 years of study, the last two years of study with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and any other elective subject with English at a level not less than the core course for English as prescribed by the National Council for Educational Research and Training after the introduction of the 10+2+3 (years) educational structure as recommended by the National Committee on Education.
OR - The Intermediate Examination in Science from a recognized University/Board with Physics, Chemistry and Biology (which shall include a practical test in these subjects) and English as a core course.

Exam Pattern & Syllabus
AIPVT 2022 Exam Pattern
- AIPVT 2022 will be an offline pen and paper test.
- The AIPVT 2022 shall consist of one paper containing 180 objective type questions (four options with single correct answer).
- Question will comes from Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany & Zoology) to be answered on the specially designed machine-gradable sheet using Blue/ Black Ball Point Pen only.
- Each question shall carries 3 marks. For each correct response the candidate will get 3 marks. For each incorrect response, one mark will be deducted.
- The duration of AIPVT 2022 shall be 03 hours.

AIPVT Admit Card 2022
- The candidate has to AIPVT 2022 download his/her Admit Card along with proforma for pasting of postcard size photograph from the Council’s website before the exam and appear for the examination at the given Centre.
- In case candidates are unable to download AIPVT 2022 Admit Cards from the website, the candidate should approach the Help Line which will be given in website www.aipvt.vci.nic.in and www.vci.nic.in.
- The candidates are advised to read the instructions on the admit card carefully and follow them during the conduct of the examination.
- Candidates who will not bring the downloaded proforma with postcard size photograph pasted and one passport size photograph will not be allowed to sit in the examination and shall lead to his/her disqualification.
- Candidate may please note that AIPVT 2022 admit cards will not be sent by post. Candidates should preserve their Admit Cards in good condition till admission in Veterinary College is over.
AIPVT Result 2022
- AIPVT Result 2022 of the examination shall comprise of the successful candidates listed in the Merit and Waiting List only and the same will be hosted on Council’s. AIPVT Result 2022 will be declared by 1 st week of July, 2022.
- Intimation of AIPVT Result 2022 will be sent to the Merit and Wait Listed candidates by E-mail and SMS. There will be no separate merit list for SC/ST/OBC/PH candidates.
- All Candidates appearing in AIPVT 2022 Examination must remain in touch with the Council’s website. The Council shall not be responsible for non-receipt of latest information/ communication due to wrong E-mail address and Mobile No. provided in the Online Application Form by the candidate.
AIPVT Counseling 2022
- The schedule and procedure of AIPVT 2022 Counseling for the successful candidates as per merit/ wait list shall be displayed on the Council’s website with the AIPVT-2022 results and the same will be intimated to Merit/Wait List candidates through E-mail and SMS also.
- The candidates appearing for counseling should produce the following documents in original along with an attested copy of the documents for verification failing which they shall amount to disqualification and no counseling shall be held for such candidates:
- Admit Card downloaded from Council’s website.
- Rank letter downloaded from Counil’s website.
- Date of Birth Certificate (Secondary School Examination or equivalent Certificate)
- Qualifying Examination Marksheet/ Certificate (Provisional certificate of Qualifying Examination is permissible for those candidates who have passed in the year 2022 only).
- Character Certificate,
