- Nitte University will be conducting Nitte University All India Entrance Test for Under Graduate Medical (MBBS) and Dental (BDS) Courses, candidates seeking admission to MBBS and BDS in its constituent colleges, namely K.S Hegde Medical Academy and A.B Shetty Memorial Institute of Dental Sciences, for the academic year 2022-23.
NUUGET 2022 Exam Date:
- Eligible candidates desiring to appear for the Entrance Test which is conducted by NITTE University in the month of May. Last year it was held in the month of 11th May 2015.
NUUGET 2022 Online Application
- Candidates may apply by downloading the application form from our website www.nitte.edu.in and by paying the registration fee of Rs.1500/- by way of Demand Draft favouring Nitte University payable at Mangalore.
- The submission of Online application form through website can be made from April.
- The NUUGET Information Brochure will be available ON LINE on the websites.
- Candidates are advised to read carefully this information brochure, check their eligibility and applicable reservation category etc. before filling and submitting the application.
MBBS & BDS Seats Intake
- MBBS ( 4 ½ years + 1 year Internship ) – 150 Seats ( Subject to Govt. Notification )
- BDS ( 4 years + 1 year Internship ) – 100 Seats
NUUGET 2022 Eligibility
- A candidate who has passed the Second year Pre – University or 12th standard or equivalent examination not earlier to 2014 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as optional subjects and English as one of the languages of study and obtained an aggregate minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology put together.
- However, in case of SC/ST candidates it is 40%. The candidates who are appearing for the prescribed qualifying examination and expecting the minimum percentage of marks as at ( 1 ) are also eligible to apply.
- Must be 17 or more years of age as on 31st December, 2018.
- Must be a citizen of India.
NUUGET 2022 Syllabus & Exam Pattern
- NITTE University Admission Entrance Test 2022 will be conducted in English.
- There will be a question paper of 3 hours duration consisting of 180 multiple choice questions i.e MCQs.
- Subject wise distribution of questions would be: Physics – 60, Chemistry – 60 and Biology – 60.
- Each question carries 1 mark. Correct answer will be awarded 1 mark. There is no negative marking for wrong answers.

NUUGET 2022 Result
- After, all the Question Booklets and OMR Response Sheets are received by the NITTE University the evaluation shall be done using OMR machine.
- After evaluation, result shall be declared Rank-wise, Roll No. wise and category wise.
- The Ranking shall be solely based on the result of NUUGET 2022 and shall not be valid for admission.
- This Ranking will be drawn to give an approximate idea to the candidate with regard to his/her relative position only based on NUUGET 2022.
