TANCET MBA 2018:
- Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test for MBA conducted by Anna University. Generally TANCET MBA exam held in the month of May. Last year it was held on 16th and 17th May 2018.

TANCET MBA 2018 Eligibility
- A pass in a recognized Bachelor’s degree of minimum 3 years duration and obtained atleast 50 % (45 % in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the qualifying degree examination.
- 10+2+3 years pattern
OR - 10+3 years Diploma + 3 years pattern
OR - B.E./B.Tech./B.Arch./B.Pharm.
OR - AMIE with 2 years regular full time Teaching experience / Industrial experience in the relevant field after successful completion of the course including project work. An experience certificate is to be produced by the candidates.
- (a) 10+2+AMIE
OR
(b) 10+3 Years diploma (awarded by the State Board of Technical Education) + AMIE.
Candidates appearing for the final semester / year examination of the said qualifying degree course except AMIE during April / May 2018 may also apply for TANCET 2018.

TANCET MBA Exam Pattern
- Test Duration : 2 Hours
- Number of Questions -100
- No. of alternative answers-5
- Mark for every correct answer– 1
- Max. Marks-100
- Negative marks for every wrong answer-1/5
Note:Multiple shading will be considered as wrong answer and 1/5 mark will be deducted.
TANCET MBA 2018 Syllabus
Quantitative Reasoning
- Evaluate the candidate’s ability to identify critically the data and apply the data to business decisions from given typical business situations.
Reading Comprehension
- Evaluate the skill of the candidate in answering questions based on the passages in the comprehension
Verbal Reasoning
- Evaluate the skill on solving mathematical problems at graduate level (including those learnt in plus two or equivalent level.
Data Sufficiency
- Test on determining data sufficiency for answering certain questions using the given data and the knowledge of Mathematics and use of day – to – day facts.
Business Situation Analsyis (Business Decision Making)
- Test the knowledge on written English with questions on errors in usage, grammar, punctuation and the like.
