  • Vellore Institute of Technology entrance exam is conducted for students who want to seek admission in MCA/M.Tech. This exam is conducted by Vellore Institute of Technology. It is finest institute which is known to offer high quality of education in technology field. Candidates who have got more than 90 % in GATE can apply directly for interview without written exam.

VITMEE 2022 Exam Date:

  • Every year Vellore Institute of Technology conducted VITMEE entrance exam in the month of June. Last year it was conducted on  6th and 7th June, 2015.

VITMEE 2022 Courses:

The following courses are available at Vellore Campus and Chennai Campus

  • Master of Computer Applications [MCA] – 2 years (4 semesters)
  • M.Tech. Programmes – 2 years (4 semesters)

VITMEE 2022 Online Application Form

  • Candidates can apply through online at www.vit.ac.in following the steps given.
  • The applicants should also have their photo and signature ready to upload.
  • The payment can be either made by online using net banking/ credit/ debit cards.
  • Before apply to VITMEE 2022 candidates are advised to read the VITMEE Information Brochure .
Stage 1: New User Registration

  • Enter all relevant details carefully.Change of data is not possible.
  • A password will be sent from VIT to your registered mobile no. and email address.
Stage 2: Confirmation of password

  • Login to Step 2 with the email address and password receive from VIT.
Stage 3: Filling Online application form

  • Provide all relevant details carefully, before the submission.
  • An application number will be generated after submission.
Stage 4: Mode of payment

  • Online Mode – Use Net banking / Debit Card / Credit Card.
  • DD Mode – Get ready with DD of Rs. 950/- drawn in favour of ‘VIT University’ payable at Vellore.
Stage 5: Photo & Sign Upload

  • Passport size colour photograph (3.5cm X 4.5 cm) in jpg/jpeg format with a maximum file size of 200 kb.
  • Signature of the candidate (Dimension – 6cm(width) X 2 cm height) in jpg/jpeg format with a maximum file size of 200 kb.
Important note:

  • Please do not send the hardcopy of the application form after the process of completion.
  • DD Mode – It is mandatory to send the hardcopy of the application form along with the Demand Draft (write your name and application no. at reverse side of DD) after the process of completion.

VITMEE 2022 Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates should have graduated with a full-time degree from any recognized University with a minimum aggregate of 60% for MCA and 50% for M.Tech. degree programmes.
  • Candidates appearing for their final degree exam / final semester exam in the current year are also eligible to apply.
  • Candidates should have completed their final Semester/year exams before the selection interview at VIT University.
  • The candidates should produce statement of final year marks and Provisional degree certificate before August 15th, 2015, failing which admission will be cancelled with the forfeit of admission fee.

VITMEE 2022 test slot

  • VITMEE 2022 test slot booking is a web based online scheduling system.
  • The slot booking will be done on first-come- first serve basis, subject to the availability of slots / seats.
  • A slot once booked cannot be changed. Requests for change of date, slot or test center will not be entertained under any circumstances.
  • A confirmation mail will be automatically sent to the e-mail address ofthe candidate, who has booked his/her schedule through the VITMEE- 2015 booking system.

  • The computer based test (CBT) objective question Paper consists of 100 questions with a maximum of 100 marks.
  • NO negative marks for wrong answers.

VITMEE 2022 Admit Card

  • Admit cards can be downloaded from www.vit.ac.in/vitmee2020. Admit Card will not be faxed or sent by e-mail personally.
  • The candidates must not mutilate the VITMEE 2022 Admit card or alter any entry made therein.
  • The VITMEE 2022 Admit card will contain your name,registration number, photograph, your postal address, slot, date of examination and also the address of your test centre, test schedule and set of instructions for the test.
  • The candidate should carefully examine the VITMEE 2022 Admit card once received. Any discrepancy should be immediately brought to the notice of the Director (PG Admissions).
  • The candidate should produce the admit card at the time of interview. Candidates will be short-listed for an counselling on the basis of their performance in the Entrance Examination conducted by VIT University.

VITMEE 2022 Result

  • After, all the Computer Based Test Verified by the University the result will be announced.
  • After evaluation, result shall be declared Rank-wise, Roll No. wise and category wise.
  • The VITMEE Ranking shall be solely based on the result of VITMEE 2022 and shall not be valid for admission.
  • This Ranking will be drawn to give an approximate idea to the candidate with regard to his/her relative position only based on VITMEE 2022.
  • The VITMEE Result 2022 will be available on Vellore Institute of Technology website.
