KVS Running 850 schools in India, Moscow and Kathmandu, which are affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education. Every year KVS (Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan) recruited thousands of candidates for TGT (Trained Graduate Teachers) for various schools.

KVS TGT Eligibility Qualification

Four years’ integrated degree course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate;
OR
Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks in the concerned subjects/combination of subjects and in aggregate. The electives subjectsband Languages in the combination of subjects are as under:

KVS (Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan) TGT (Trained Graduate Teachers) Exam 2022 Preliminary Exam KVS TGT Syllabus and Question Pattern (Trained Graduate Teachers).

The prelims exam consists of two parts – Part-1 & Part-2 with total 150 Objective Type questions to be answered in 3 hours.

However, for preparing the merit list in Prelims, marks of only Part-1 is considered (110 marks). In Part-2, you just have to score the qualifying marks only.

Details of these two parts of KVS Preliminary Examination are given below:

Part – 1: (Aptitude test)

Part-1 consists of 110 Questions, 1 mark per question with following test areas:
i) General Awareness (GK, Current Affairs, Indian Constitution, General Science).
ii) Test of Reasoning.
iii) Quantitative Aptitude test.
iv) Teaching Aptitude test.

Language competency test

Part – 2 (Language competency test): Only qualifying in nature. 40 Questions, 1 mark per question.

English language: 20 marks. Qualifying mark for English: 5 marks.
Hindi language: 20 marks. Qualifying mark for Hindi: 5 marks.

Qualifying marks for whole of part-2 (i.e. both languages combined): 13 marks.

There is no negative marking. So do not leave any question unanswered. Based on the relative performance of all the candidates, the cut-off mark for KVS PGT Prelims exam would be decided by KVS examiners and those above the cut-off would be called for the Mains exam.

Only Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) pass candidates (Paper II), having professional quantification of B.Ed are eligible to apply for the posts of TGT (English, Hindi, Sanskrit, Maths, Science and Social Studies). The candidates with professional qualification of Special B.Ed OR B.Ed. OR Special D.Ed. are not eligible to apply for these posts.

Eligible and interested candidates would be required to apply only online through KVS’s website OR www.jobapply.in/kvs/.

Before applying for the post, the candidates must have a valid email id through which he/she will fill up the online application.

Candidates are required to visit KVS’s website or www.jobappiy. in/kvs/ where complete advertisement, details regarding eligibility criteria, selection procedure, application fee, online registration and general conditions are available.

Candidates applying online are required to take print out of auto generated filled in application format.

The candidates for the posts advertised have to keep a set of application with documents duly Photocopied with him/her for record and the same to be produced at the time of interview/skill test, if shortlisted.

Candidates are not required to submit to Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) either by post or by hand the printout of their online applications or any other documents.
